Tykes Restaurant at Sandburn Hall is to host its annual Sausage Fest
SAUSAGE lovers are in for a tasty treat at Tykes Restaurant's annual Sausage Fest later this month.
The aim of the event, at Sandburn Hall, near Claxton, is to promote local produce that is available on customers' doorsteps.
Local butchers from across York will be submitting bangers for judging, in the hope of taking home the festival trophy.
The foodie festival is on Thursday, September 20 from 6pm, and tickets cost £32.95.
