A FIRE in the bedroom of a property in York is believed to have been started deliberately.
Fire crews were called to the incident in The Groves area at around 8.10pm yesterday (September 4).
They put out the fire using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire caused slight damage to a number of items within the room.
It confirmed that no-one was injured.
A spokesman for the fire service added: "We believe the cause was deliberate."
