A YORK MP has spent a day on the beat with York’s Neighbourhood Policing team to gain an insight into the work they do to keep communities safe.
York Outer MP, Julian Sturdy, was able to see how day-to-day business is prioritised, attended response calls and discussed policing challenges with frontline officers.
Julian spent the day with officers who responded to a number of calls from members of the public.
He was also able to see how our local police use technology to assist in identifying potential threats.
Julian said: “I was able to see a well-organised and hugely passionate team of officers.”
