TWO hundred cyclists are set to pedal through the streets of York and across the North Yorkshire countryside next month to raise funds for a charity's fight against heart disease.
The Heart of York Bike Ride, now in its seventh year, and organised by the British Heart Foundation's York fundraising branch, takes place on Sunday September 9, beginning at York St John University Sports Centre on Haxby Road at 9am.
Keen cyclist Ian Price will be one of those participating, despite having the heart condition primary dilated cardiomyopathy.
