I could not agree more with Maureen Robinson (Letters August 22) regarding so-called celebrities, and the lazy programme makers who are unable to plan alternative viewing for us.
The BBC though have come up with the perfect title for one of their tea-time slots - Pointless Celebrities! Pure genius!
