A SCULPTURE has been installed in Cawood to mark the closure of the craft festival.
The festival has been held in the village each August Bank Holiday for more than 30 years.
The sculpture is a copy of the Barbara Hepworth sculpture Sunblessed, and was made by Steve Middleton in Cotswold stone and is sited at the junction of Broad Lane and Wistowgate.
The festival has raised in the region of £300,000 over the years, with £275,000 donated to the village church, with money also going to Martin House Children's Hospice and various village charities when the winding up took place in 2017.
During the festival, various charities raised money from stalls which were offered free by the festival committee.
