A PAIR of B&Bs in York have been shortlisted for a national award.
The eviivo Awards 2018, now in its fifth year, celebrates the best B&Bs, guest houses, inns and small independent hotels around the UK, and the shortlist was announced this week.
No.21 York was nominated for the Hidden Gem award, while Skipbridge Farm's Shepherds Hut was nominated for the Quirkiest Place To Stay.
Elsewhere in Yorkshire, Breaday Gill and Folly Gill made the shortlist for Most Beautifully Presented, with industry expert judges to decide on the winners in coming weeks.
David Weston, awards judge and chairman of the Bed & Breakfast Association, said: "These brilliant B&Bs offer a glimpse of the fantastic range of accommodation this country has to offer its visitors, whether they be domestic or international."
The eviivo Awards take place on October 16 in London.
