DUTCH striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be a late substitute for Gary McAllister at the Leeds Legends chat show at the Grand Opera House, York, tonight.

Hasselbaink, who scored 42 goals for Leeds between 1997 and 1999, will team up with Gordon Strachan, Scottish captain of Leeds's 1992 League champions.

Kick-off will be at 7.30pm, 15 minutes before Leeds United take on Preston North End in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup tonight at Elland Road.

Winger Strachan and centre forward Hasselbainks will look back on their Leeds United years and reflect on the experience of playing at the top level in the beautiful game.

They will discuss crucial games and tell stories of the dressing room and the training ground, managers, fall-outs and "everything you wanted to know about playing for a successful football club" in an event hosted by Talk Sport pundit and regular Arsenal substitute Perry Groves.

Audience members can put questions to the former players turned managers on the night. Tickets are on sale on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
