YORK is set to be inundated with thousands of glamorous women sporting amazing headwear.
The flagship meeting at York Racecourse, the Ebor Festival, gets under way on Wednesday, August 22.
The four-day festival, which runs until Saturday, will offer record prize money approaching £5 million, and looks set to attract some of the top rated horses in the world.
But for many the highlight is Ladies Day on Thursday, an opportunity for racegoers to make a fashion statement in amazing dresses and outrageous hats.
