I wonder how many of our brilliant Remain forecasting Jeremiahs prophesying Armageddon after Brexit saw it coming.
The BMA has joined the ranks of these would-be Cassandras now representing almost the entire Establishment dependent on the EU for something or other.
Moses would envy their confidence in promising pandemics after Brexit but whether we should base our housing, health and education policies on this is a matter for debate.
The BMA has unfailingly chosen the wrong side, since it opposed the whole idea of a National Health Service.
