Women's group Herstory.York is seeking new members
WOMEN'S group Herstory.York is seeking additional members.
The group's aim is to research 100 women whose stories have remained largely untold, but who have effected change in the city.
These women were active between 1918, when some women were able to vote for the first time, and 2018 and the project aims to highlight their inspirational stories with a celebration and a booklet launch in December.
The group particularly needs new members with IT skills to help build a website and Facebook page. Contact herstory.york@gmail.com .
