John Smith's Brewery
TRAFFIC was disrupted in Tadcaster today when a lorry entering John Smith's Brewery struck a gate post and partially blocked a road.
North Yorkshire Police said officers were called at 10.45am to reports of a lorry in High Street which was causing an obstruction, adding: "Officers were at the scene for around an hour to help manage vehicle recovery and traffic."
A brewery spokeswoman said the lorry struck a gate post and checks on the structure were needed.
