REPORTS in the north-east are claiming that Bantams striker Charlie Wyke is having a medical with Sunderland today.
Roker Report, who have close links with Black Cats owner Stuart Donald, state that City and Sunderland have agreed a fee for the striker and that he is set to discuss personal terms.
It has been speculated that the deal could be £500,000 plus £500,000 in instalments – but that has not been confirmed by the Bantams.
Wyke has been sidelined with a knee injury but is expected to return to fitness shortly.
City have yet to comment on the situation.
Meanwhile, Bolton, who had been strongly linked with Wyke, are thought to be closing in on their other striker target in Ipswich's Joe Garner.
