ENDURING ballroom dance duo Anton & Erin are on their way to York Barbican once more, this time with their new 2019 production, Dance Those Magical Musicals.

On February 15, Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag will present "a world where ballroom meets musical theatre with stunning costumes and breathtaking choreography, set to iconic theatrical music from the shows".

The dance routines will draw on such musicals as The Phantom Of The Opera, Mary Poppins, 42nd Street, Wicked, Top Hat, Hairspray and Jersey Boys, and Anton and Erin will be joined on stage by the Manchester Concert Orchestra with conductor Richard Balcombe, a West End dance ensemble and Strictly Come Dancing vocalist Lance Ellington.

As always, the show will feature a question-and-answer section, providing Du Beke, 52 and New Zealander Boag, 43, with the chance for "some fun interaction with the audience".

"Get ready for West End live on the dancefloor," says Strictly stalwart Anton. "Erin and I can’t wait to bring our new show to a venue near you. Expect fabulous dancing, music and song."

Tickets for this 7.30pm show cost £32.50 to £49.50, on sale on 0844 857 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office. Anton & Erin's tour also visits Hull New Theatre on March 14 at 7.30pm; box office, 01482 300306 or at hulltheatres.co.uk.
