WHAT are the plans for the sports field to the left of the driveway leading up to the main door of Bootham Park?
The ground was once used for football and evening league cricket, and there were tennis courts.
What is nice about the land is that it is in the city centre.Being at the back door of Bootham School, it could be used by them.
I recently watched the Dragon Boat race on the river which was well attended. It just shows what can be done with some imagination.
It is sad to see this area not used for anything.
