Author Fiona Mozley
A YORK author has scooped a top literary accolade.
Man Booker Prize nominee Fiona Mozley won the Somerset Maugham Award at the Society of Authors’ Awards for her debut novel Elmet.
She was one of three writers to win the £5,250 accolade, which celebrates published works of fiction, non-fiction or poetry by writers under 35 to enable them to gain experience of foreign countries.
