A MAN was cut free by firefighters after being trapped in a car following a crash on the A19 between York and Easingwold.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the collision involved a BMW and a Fiesta van, and happened at Shipton by Beningbrough at just before 8am yesterday.
"He has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries," said a spokesman, adding that Acomb and York crews attended.
