POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing woman who boarded a train to Scarborough.
Denise Birdsall, 52, left her home in Garforth at about 9.30am yesterday, Monday.
She was last seen wearing pink tracksuit bottoms, a baggy lilac jumper and black trainers.
She is described as being 5ft tall, of a petite build and has brown hair which was tied up in a bun.
Enquiries show she boarded a train from Leeds at 10.31am yesterday and arrived in Scarborough at 11.42am.
Police are concerned for her welfare.
Detective Inspector James Entwistle, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are very concerned for Denise’s welfare and urgently need to trace her and check that she is okay.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has seen her in the Scarborough area or anywhere else that she may have gone since arriving there by train.”
