THREE passengers were slightly hurt when their bus collided with a taxi in York city centre today.
The bus collided with the back of the black hackney carriage in Low Ousegate, near Ouse Bridge, at just before 9am.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service said three passengers who were complaining of back pain were checked over but did not need to be taken to hospital.
North Yorkshire Police said the accident was reported to police as a damage-only collision near the Tesco Express, involving a bus and a black Peugeot taxi.
"The scene was clear by 9.55am," added a spokesman.
The crash caused long delays for motorists driving through the city centre.
