A JUNIOR rowing crew from York took part in this year's Henley Royal Regatta.
The junior team from York City Rowing Club took part in the event, the highlight of the rowing calendar, between July 4 and 8, on the Thames, and raced in the yellow, purple, and gold for the Fawley Challenge Cup for Junior Quadruple Sculls.
The quad of Luca Machado, Aiden Wilson, Alfie Hancock and Josh Barwick qualified as one of only 9 qualifying spots from a field of 49.
They won their first round, but lost in the second to 2017 winners the Windsor Boy's School.
