Having lost my dear dad to Motor Neurone Disease, the article “Angling in memory of Anne” (The Press, July 6) made me wish York had a charity shop to solely benefit MND sufferers, raise funds for necessary equipment and to help fund research into a cure.
There is such a shop in Romiley, Stockport, called Over The Rainbow, set up in memory of the owner’s
dear brother who died from this horrendously cruel disease.
If age was on my side and I had the funds I would
certainly do this.
