A WOMAN who may have witnessed an attack on a teenage girl has been urged to contact police.
The assault happened close to St Winifred's Avenue, Harrogate, at about 4pm on Sunday, July 1, where a group of teenage girls was sitting together, before an altercation between a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old.
The older girl suffered bruises to her face, and North Yorkshire Police said they want to find "a woman with very blonde hair and pushing a buggy", who "had two young children with her and may have seen the incident".
Anyone with information should phone 101, select option two, and ask for Beth Crawford-Evans, email bethany.crawford-evans@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 quoting reference 12180118108.
