As York Maze prepares to unveil its latest theme on Friday, July 13, we look back at some of our favourites over the years.
The attraction, on Elvington Lane, York, just off the A1079 Hull Road, now covers 15 acres - or eight football pitches - and is thought to be one of the biggest mazes in the world.
Previous designs have featured a huge spider's web and giant images of three Yorkshiremen; no-nonsense cricket commentator Geoffrey Boycott, Top Gear presenter Jeremey Clarkson, and larger than life actor and adventurer Brian Blessed.
