LIBRARIES in York are marking the 70th birthday of the NHS by inviting people in for a cuppa and a chat this week.
Centres across the city are joining City Of York Council, York CVS, the York NHS bodies and Healthwatch York in a bid to combat loneliness "one cuppa at a time".
The "NHS7tea" events will be on Wednesday at Tang Hall Explore 10.30am -12.30pm and York Explore 2.30-3.30pm. On Thursday they will be at Acomb Explore 12.30-2pm and Clifton Explore 2.30-3.30pm.
