THREE boys were arrested after a car was stolen in York.
North Yorkshire Police said they were called to Heworth after a Volkswagen Golf was taken without the owner's consent at 11.30am.
Following searches, officers found the car parked in New Earswick 11.50am, and three teenagers from York were arrested nearby.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, and boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested on suspicion of being carried in a motor vehicle taken without the owner's consent.
All three remained in custody at time of going to print.
