The poster for the BBC Introducing fundraiser
SINGERS from the BBC Introducing in North Yorkshire programme will each cover a well-known Sixties' tune accompanied by a 45-piece orchestra tomorrow (Saturday) at St Lawrence's Church in York at 8pm.
Artists covered will include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Martha Reeves and Dusty Springfield. This fundraiser will be performed in front of a live audience and recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio York.
"It’s free to get in and all donations go to Children In Need," says organiser Jericho Keys.
