BUSINESSES from across Yorkshire descended on Queen Elizabeth Barracks at Strensall for a day of leadership training.
The Queen’s Own Yeomanry (QOY) held a ‘Mini Stretch’ – a series of military-style challenges designed to develop leadership and teamworking skills in civilian employees.
More than 50 people from businesses including Portakabin, Bridgfords, Shepherd Group, Castle Employment Agency, Acumen Waste Services, Network Rail and HMP Wealston took part in the event.
They were put through their paces in a number of challenges which tested them mentally and physically.
The event was organised by Captain Tim Miller, of QOY.
