A VILLAGE is getting ready for its annual open gardens event on Sunday.
Eighteen gardens in Hutton Buscel will be open to the public from noon to 5pm, ranging from small backyards to extensive gardens with views over the Vale of Pickering.
The village hall will be open for tea and cakes all afternoon and there will be craft stalls, tombola, book stall, art displays and a large sale of plants.
Admission is £3 per adult, which includes free parking at the west end of the village. The funds raised are going to St Matthews Church for the upkeep of this historic building and churchyard.
