A VILLAGE show has been heralded as “fantastic” by the organisers.
The Acklam Sports and Gymkhana Show took place on Saturday.
The show, which has been running for more than 100 years in the Ryedale village of Acklam, featured a full day of equestrian events and jumping in a range of classes.
The organisers said on social media: “What a fantastic day!
“Thank you so much to all that attended and all that have worked so hard to make our local show the amazing thing it is.”
It also included trial bikes, a laser clay pigeon shoot, terrier racing and sheep shearing, and there was a dog show, children’s art competition, athletics, a baking competition, live music, a beer tent, and much more besides.
