POLICE will be patrolling in Stockton on the Forest on Wednesday (June 6) as part of the Operation Joypad campaign.

Officers will be in the area from 5pm to 7pm offering free crime prevention advice to residents.

They will also be doing property marking on Kings Moor Road and residents are invited to bring electronic equipment, tools and other valuable items to be security marked.

The campaign will focus on areas that have been targeted by burglars or where residents have voiced concerns about crime ahead of the summer. High visibility patrols will knock on people’s doors to offer advice and reassurance.
