FIREFIGHTERS have removed handcuffs stuck on a young boy’s arm after he was taken to York fire station by his father.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the crew at the station in Kent Street used a hacksaw and pliers to cut off the cuffs without causing any injury on Saturday night.
Crews have also removed a broken tree branch hanging dangerously over a car park in Scalm Lane, Selby.
