CREWS tackled a fire at a house in York early this morning.
The fire is believed to have started in a wheelie bin and spread to the porch of the house, North Yorkshire fire service said.
Firefighters were called to the incident at about 4.30am.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental, the fire service added.
It also said that all occupants in the house were "accounted for and safe."
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to put out the flames.
Positive pressure ventilation fans were used to ventilate the house as smoke had filtered inside.
