Melrosegate
TRAVELLERS have parked on the playing field at Melrosegate.
North Yorkshire Police said two caravans arrived at the site at about 12pm on Wednesday.
Council officers also confirmed that they visited the encampment on Wednesday afternoon.
They then served the occupants of the caravans with a notice to leave the site.
