YORK musician Dan Foster has been invited to play Irish fiddle at Carnegie Hall, New York, on June 1, when he will share the stage with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta for their tenth anniversary concert in the Weill Recital Hall.
Dan, 28, emigrated to the United States three years ago to pursue his career as a freelance musician. Here he is pictured playing at the wedding of Richard and Leonie Springle at the Hospitium, Museum Gardens, York, in December 2008, after Leonie spotted him busking in York.
