Selby Abbey
CELEBRATED musicians will play free concerts at Selby Abbey this summer.
The venue will host a series of lunchtime recitals with famous organists performing on the restored Hill organ, made for the abbey in 1909.
Events are scheduled to take place every Tuesday at 12.30pm from June 26 to July 31.
The Selby Abbey Trust has also launched an appeal in a bid to raise £3 million to restore the roof and gutters of the landmark, which dates back to 1069.
