A YORK travel agency has been named among the best travel agencies in the UK.
Acomb Travel of Front Street, Acomb, has been included in the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies of 2018 after it made the top three in the Yorkshire category for the second time in three years.
It will now get special promotion by the industry's Travel Trade Gazette (TTG).
Among those Acomb Travel beat in the final was Hays Travel of Low Ousegate, York.
Eric Walton, co-owner of Acomb Travel said “We are absolutely delighted to be receiving this award for the second time in three years.
"I am so proud of my staff as I know they work very hard to maintain a very high level of customer service”.
More than 900 travel agencies and branches competed to be included in the Top 50 list.
A panel of 60 travel suppliers including airlines, tour operators and car hire providers drew up the shortlist from which the winners were chosen.
