MADE in Yorkshire brands will make this year's Tour de Yorkshire publicity caravan the biggest ever.
From the race's start on Wednesday, 30 vehicles, up from 18 last year, will precede the racers along the entire four-day route.
Many famous Yorkshire brands will be represented, alongside the Consulate of Pakistan and the tour's official artist Lucy Pittaway. As it makes its way round the county, the caravan will hand out freebies and keepsakes
The millions of spectators expected to line the roadside from Beverley to Leeds via Doncaster, Barnsley, Ilkley, Richmond, Scarborough and Halifax will also get the chance to meet the race's "ambassadors", all well-known British cycling names.
Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Sir Gary Verity said: “We’ve got some amazing brands taking part, as well as the Consulate of Pakistan and the official Tour de Yorkshire artist Lucy Pittaway, so it’ll be a superb spectacle not to be missed.
