A PRIMARY school has been praised by Ofsted for continuing to provide good care for children.
Stockton-on-the-Forest Primary School was visited by inspectors in March.
The report said teaching is strong across the site and that attendance has improved.
Inspectors said: "Pupils enjoy being at school and report that learning is fun and challenging. In general, teachers have high expectations and this is seen in the pace pupils work at and from the progress they make."
They added that behaviour is good but said some children find the use of balls in the playground "disconcerting". The report praises the school for plans to build a ball area, saying: "This means balls can be played with safely in a designated zone of the playground, leaving others free to play and socialise without feeling wary."
