POLICE in York want to speak to a woman in connection with an incident in which someone else's cashback was taken from a self-service supermarket till.
North Yorkshire Police said £40 was taken from the till at Asda in Jockey Lane at 5.50pm on March 31, after the man forgot to take it. A spokesman said a woman "removed the cash from the dispenser, placed it on top of the till, and then put it her bag".
Anyone who can help to identify the woman pictured should phone police on 101, select option two and ask for Hanneke Hart, email hanneke.hart@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 quoting reference 12180054732.
