THE FOLKLORE of spring will be subject of a talk being given at a cafe in the city early next week.
On Monday, April 16 at 8.30pm Stephen Sayers will talk about the topic at Angel on the Green, Bishopthorpe Road.
Prof Sayers is a retired professor of psychology and is respected authority in this area. His talk will explore the "mythologically rich" season and spring folklore that has been handed down throughout the ages.
