THREE MPs have nominated a charity’s mobile chemotherapy unit for a prestigious NHS award.

Rachael Maskell, MP for York Central, Julian Sturdy, MP for York Outer and Nigel Adams, MP for Selby and Ainsty, have all nominated York Against Cancer’s initiative for an NHS 70 Parliamentary Award.

The charity’s dermatoscope project, which helps GPs identify and combat skin cancer, has also been nominated. The prizegiving will take place on July 4, the day before the NHS turns 70.
