YORK city landmarks could be lit up in blue this spring, to raise awareness of chronic disease ME.
City councillors agreed on Thursday night to ask for the Bar Walls and the council's West Offices HQ to be lit in blue, to show support for ME Awareness Day on May 12. They had heard from Bill Clayton, who runs the York ME Community, about the need for more awareness of and research into the condition.
