THE Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for the River Ouse at Naburn Lock.
Rainfall has led to a rise in river levels in the area, with the level set to reach a peak of 3m by 6am tomorrow morning.
The organisation has warned that this may cause property flooding and has urged residents not to put themselves at risk.
A flood warning has also been issued for the River Derwent at Buttercrambe Mill, with levels forecast to reach 1.4m by 11pm.
The Environment Agency will continue to monitor the situation. For updates visit flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk.
