A 37-YEAR-OLD man denied causing the death of a York baby by gross negligence when he appeared before York Crown Court.
Craig Williams, of Park View Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham, is charged with the manslaughter of seven-month-old Oscar Abbey on November 3, 2016.
He also denied an allegation of fraud by making false representations about a bed and Playtime Beds Ltd between November 14, 2016, and November 22, 2016.
His trial will be on October 15 before a senior judge and is expected to last for at least two weeks. The venue has yet to be decided.
He was released on conditional bail.
