THE MP for York Outer, Julian Sturdy, told the House of Commons new housing developments should be considered during upgrades to York's northern ring road.
Mr Sturdy said future development must also a high consideration for the Government, and was told by Chancellor Phillip Hammond that the new major roads network “will support the creation of new housing development by improving access to future development sites and boosting suitable land capacity”.
The Chancellor also clarified that York’s northern ring road would be part of the proposed network.
