ON THEIR WAY the Nun Monkton Ferryboat in action
VOLUNTEERS who run a summer ferry across the River Ouse north of York are looking for new team members.
Nun Monkton Ferryboat has skipper and crew member vacancies as it prepares to run an increased service in its second year.
Last year in ten days it conveyed 606 passengers and many dogs between Nun Monkton and Beningbrough.
This year it will run every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from April 1 until October from 11am to 4pm.
