A TRAFFIC policeman has spoken of his disbelief after the driver of this vehicle escaped without serious injury following a crash on a North Yorkshire road.
Sergeant Paul Cording tweeted: "Still can’t quite believe the driver of the flat bed walked away from this."
He said the driver of a Vauxhall car that was also involved in the accident was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
He also thanked all the emergency services for their 'amazing professionalism' at the scene of the crash, which happened yesterday on the A168 at Thornton Le Moor, between Thirsk and Northallerton.
