ICY conditions caused a car to veer off a road and into a hedge near York this morning.
The car, an Audi A3, went into a hedge in Stockton Lane, Stockton-on-the-Forest, and the road was partially blocked at the junction with Holtby Lane near Dean’s Garden Centre.
The crash was reported to North Yorkshire Police shortly after 6am.
A North Yorkshire police officer said the collision “was due to the icy conditions.”
Nobody was injured in the crash.
Police warned motorists to take care on North Yorkshire’s roads this morning because of the conditions.
