FROM Ashes To Ashes is the new An Evening With Boycott & Aggers show starring Test Match Special double act Geoffrey Boycott and Jonathan Agnew, the Beeb's cricket correspondent, at the Grand Opera House, York, on Sunday night.

After England's humbling Ashes defeat Down Under but better one-day series, straight-batting, straight-talking Yorkshireman Boycott will tell Agnew what he thinks of the players and their performance, while addressing many other subjects too.

"Sir" Geoffrey has sworn revenge on Aggers after his commentating compadre's glorious wind-up on Test Match Special last summer, and Sunday's audience is invited to "come and see if this is the night he gets his own back".

As well as this newly added spice, expect tall tales, barbed banter and an array of anecdotes from the brace of broadcasting legends in a 7.30pm show that will raise money for the Professional Cricketers’ Association's Benevolent Fund.

Audience members can tweet Aggers live with their own questions to add to a bat, ball and battle of words event that promises to be "fun, fiery and full of surprises". Tickets cost £26.75 on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
