THE A19 will be down to a single lane at Crockey Hill on Saturday morning as roadworks push on.
From 7am workers will be removing a traffic island at Deighton Grove Lane. Wheldrake Lane will stay open but the A19 will be down to a single lane, until around 2pm when they hope to have completed the job.
From Monday, February 5 work will move to realigning the kerb near Deighton Grove Lane. Between 10am and 3.30pm, the road will again be down to a single lane using traffic lights, for around two weeks. At other times the A19 will be opened to two-way traffic with temporary lights at the Wheldrake Lane junction.
